We have been closely monitoring the upcoming weather forecast for Morgan County, and after much prayer and consideration, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the GA Men's Summit scheduled for February 1st.
Your safety is our top priority. Given the projected conditions, we cannot safely move forward with the event this weekend.
While we are disappointed that we won’t be gathering this Sunday, we are already working hard to secure a new date. We will send a follow-up announcement as soon as the new date is confirmed.
Lastly, we understand the new date may not work for everyone. Once the date is announced, those who cannot attend will have the option to:
1. Request a full refund.
2. Donate your tickets to help another man attend who might not otherwise have the means.
OBSTICAL = OPPORTUNITY
I really believe that God is giving us more time to reach more men. We don’t see this as a setback, but as an extension of the mission to help men win. We now have a wider window to reach men who haven't heard about the Summit yet -- and the word is spreading and momentum is building!
Use this extra time to pray for a movement of men and to begin rallying the men in your circles. Look at this as an opportunity to lead—invite a neighbor, a co-worker, or a friend who needs to be in the room. Let’s turn this obstacle into an opportunity by building some real momentum and reach as many men in Georgia as possible!
Why? Churches attending the Summit will be introduced to Shepherding Men: Winning with God!, a new six-week discipleship resource from Real Momentum designed for small groups, accountability settings, and church-based men’s ministries. God has already used it greatly in Georgia, Kentucky, and Tennessee.
